Our ModRack Octagon provides a large surface area for mounting multiple overlanding tools, so you can keep your essential camping and recovery gear accessible and organized for whenever you need it. This also allows you to free up valuable space inside your vehicle.
The mounting configuration possibilities are practically endless, and since no drilling is required you’ll be able to move things around and try different layouts to best suit your needs. Quickly attach Quick Fist clamps in different locations for attaching axes, shovels, and even propane tanks or fire extinguishers. Or easily secure our ModRack Road Bag and Bottom Platform for additional storage options, including transporting firewood, trash bags, dirty or wet towels/ clothing, and more.
Ease-of-Use:
Our ModRack Octagon is quick and easy to install, with no assembly required. You simply use 4 standard 1” endless loop ratchet straps to secure the octagon to your spare tire (installation instructions below). The octagon is lightweight and can be installed in minutes.
What if I get a flat tire?
The octagon is just as easy to remove as it is to install, simply release the ratchet straps and set it aside to access your spare tire. Once you’ve mounted your flat on your tire carrier, you can re-attach the octagon to your flat, tightening the ratchet straps for a snug fit.
What if I’m in an area where theft is a concern?
No problem! If theft is a concern, a cable lock can be attached to the ModRack Octagon through one or more of the strap slots and then through your wheel.
