Installation Service Agreement & Liability Waiver
1. Service Overview
RAD Supply Co (“we,” “us,” “our”) offers professional aftermarket automotive installation services at our private facility in Temescal Valley, California. All services are performed on a drop-off, by-appointment-only basis. Services include but are not limited to: suspension and shock installation, electrical and wiring, rack and cargo system builds, exterior component installation, and related aftermarket modifications.
2. Customer Acknowledgment of Risk
By authorizing RAD Supply Co to perform installation services on your vehicle, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Aftermarket vehicle modifications carry inherent risks, including but not limited to changes in vehicle handling, stability, ride height, braking performance, and safety system behavior.
- Off-road, overlanding, and high-performance driving activities carry significant personal risk, including the possibility of serious injury or death.
- Some products installed may affect your vehicle’s factory warranty. It is your responsibility to understand any warranty implications prior to authorizing service.
- Certain modifications may not be street-legal in all jurisdictions. You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
3. Limitation of Liability — Installation Services
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RAD Supply Co, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any of the following arising from, related to, or in connection with installation services performed:
- Damage to your vehicle, including pre-existing conditions discovered during installation
- Personal injury, bodily harm, or death resulting from the use of your vehicle after installation
- Loss of vehicle use, rental costs, or towing expenses
- Mechanical failure, component failure, or part defects (manufacturer defects should be directed to the manufacturer)
- Damage resulting from off-road, competitive, or high-performance vehicle use following installation
- Electrical issues arising from pre-existing wiring conditions not disclosed prior to service
- Unforeseen complications due to prior modifications, rust, corrosion, or non-standard vehicle configurations
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind
4. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Issues
You represent that you are the legal owner of the vehicle or are authorized to consent to service on behalf of the owner. You agree to disclose any known issues, prior modifications, damage, or non-standard configurations prior to drop-off. RAD Supply Co reserves the right to photograph or document your vehicle’s condition upon drop-off and at the time of completion.
If pre-existing damage, corrosion, stripped hardware, or other conditions are discovered during installation that may affect the service or safety of the work, we will contact you before proceeding. If we cannot reach you and the condition presents a safety concern, we reserve the right to halt work without liability.
5. Parts & Materials
Customers may supply their own parts. RAD Supply Co does not warrant customer-supplied parts and assumes no liability for failures attributable to customer-supplied components. If parts are supplied by RAD Supply Co, defective parts are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty only — RAD Supply Co does not provide an independent parts warranty beyond what the manufacturer offers.
Installation labor is not refundable if a part supplied by the customer is found to be defective, incompatible, or incorrect after installation has commenced.
6. Quotes & Pricing
All labor quotes are estimates based on the information provided at the time of request. Final pricing may vary if the scope of work changes, unforeseen complications arise, or additional labor is required. You will be notified before any work proceeds beyond the original quoted scope. Your approval of any additional charges is required before additional work begins.
7. Drop-Off Terms
- All vehicles must be dropped off by appointment only. Walk-ins are not accepted.
- Our facility address is shared upon appointment confirmation and is not publicly disclosed.
- Vehicles left beyond the agreed pick-up window without prior notice may incur storage fees of $25/day after 48 hours.
- RAD Supply Co is not responsible for items left in the vehicle during service. Please remove valuables prior to drop-off.
- Vehicle keys must be provided at drop-off for the duration of the service.
8. Right to Refuse or Stop Service
RAD Supply Co reserves the right to refuse or discontinue any service at our sole discretion, including but not limited to situations where safety concerns arise, required parts are found to be incompatible, or the vehicle condition makes safe installation impractical. In such cases, you will be notified promptly and any labor performed up to that point may be billed at the applicable rate.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith communication. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in Riverside County, California, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action in connection with any dispute related to installation services.
10. Agreement
By submitting an installation appointment request, confirming an appointment, or dropping off your vehicle at our facility, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Installation Service Agreement & Liability Waiver. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with scheduling or dropping off your vehicle.
